Team : Switchable Molecules and Materials
Lab : ICMCB
Team is part of : Photonic
The group research activities aim at understanding, mastering and using light-magnetism interactions in switchable molecular materials. For this purpose, the group uses molecular engineering to develop new switchable compounds, shaped into thin films, nanoparticles, crystals or ceramics. The multifunctionality of these materials is investigated for molecule-based electronics like the Chirality-Induced Spin Selection, light-induced phase transitions or barocaloric applications.
- Optical activities (chiroptics and luminescence)
- Molecule-based electronics
- Barocaloric refrigeration
- Molecular engineering (coordination chemistry, chirality, surface chemistry, crystallography)
- Phase transition (spin crossover, superconductivity, phase diagram, multiscale and multistresses)
- Molecular Materials (surfaces, nanoparticles, thin films, ceramics)
