Researchers of our group use the techniques of linear and nonlinear optics to study and characterize molecular systems in the UV, visible, IR and THz . The systems studied are molecular complexes either in solid forms (polymers, powders, crystals) or dissolved in solution. Our team has developed laser sources, adapted and developed original experimental techniques. The group has in hands a wide range of lasers and tools. It also has the skills and an access to homemade software that makes it possible to numerically study most of the studied phenomena. The group has academic and industrial tight relationships. It is funded by different state and government agencies (CNRS, University of Bordeaux, ANR, ADEME, Region Aquitaine, Labex, Idex, SATT …) and have different ongoing collaborations with small and large companies (Alphanov, Canoe, ONERA, CEA-CESTA, CNES, Turbomeca, Arkema, EOLITE, AEC-Polymers, Europlasma, Olikrom…).
