Team : AUFRONS - Cold Atoms in Bordeaux
Lab : LP2N
Team is part of : Quantum sciences
The AUFRONS teams develops hybrid quantum systems realized by merging quantum gaz physics and solid-state nano-photonics. In particular it targets the realization of sub-wavelength hybrid quantum simulator in the vicinity of nano-structured surfaces. Close to surfaces, the electromagnetic density of states can be tailored to control atomic properties and to generate exotic two-dimensional quantum phases. The project that initially focused on the development of specific tools to trap, control and image atoms in the vicinity of surfaces is now integrating the tools in an embedded solution.
